A post describing how one perverted taxi driver molested a young girl
for half an hour inside his car has gone viral on Chinese social media,
horrifying all those who read it.
According to the post, the 17-year-old girl from Sichuan was visiting
Hengdian in Zhejiang province with her friends on summer vacation. To
take her to town, she called a taxi through a ride-hailing app.
She
chose to sit in the backseat initially. The driver engaged her in
conversation, asking where she was from and why she was in Hengdian.
Five minutes later, the driver pulled over abruptly and requested that
she sit in the front seat instead, so that they “could talk more
easily.”
“I’ve never encountered any bad guys before, so I switched to the front seat without giving it a second thought,” she told reporters.
“The driver kept driving the taxi. He talked about his three-month
health regimen and urged me to tell him if I wasn’t feeling well. I
thanked him for his kindness, but declined. I never imagined that he
would put his hands on my chest and tell me to take a deep breath.”
During the whole ride to town, the driver kept making up different
excuses to touch her body, feeling up her breasts and her lower abdomen.
“He even put his hands inside my panties to touch my private parts,”
she said. All she could do was push his hands away.
“I told him that if he had something to say, just say it, and to stop
feeling me up, but it didn’t stop him. He kept on harassing me, even
going so far as to threaten me not to move an itch,” she said. From then
on, she was molested for the entire ride, the driver only stopped
touching her when he had to change gears.
The girl resorted to sneakily snapping photos of what the driver was
doing and sending them to her friends. Once her friends received the
pictures, they contacted the police, telling them to wait at the girl’s
destination to arrest the perverted driver.

The driver was picked up by police. However, so far, he has only been
detained by 10 days and the taxi company has yet to issue an official
statement on the incident.
