An armed security guard was arrested on a charge of assault after
allegedly firing shots at men who were urinating in front of their cars
in a parking garage, according to police in Florida.
Tampa police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Everoy Farqharson,
who works as a security guard in the Ybor City parking garage,
following an altercation with a group of people.
Farqharson was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, battery, tampering with evidence and burglary.
According to the police investigation, the altercation started when two
guys decided to urinate before leaving the parking garage.
Farqharson confronted them, and things escalated quickly.
Kevin Withcer, Chris Pino, and Megan Zetterberg, told police that they
had just gotten back into their car to go home for the night.
The two men decided to urinate in front of their car before leaving, and
that was when Farqharson blocked them with his golf cart.
Farqharson fired several shots while Zetterberg tried to drive out of
the garage. Farqharson caught up with the car, opened the door and took
away the keys.
