Restaurant taunts police officers by putting a lot of hot sauce on their food

A police sergeant said that he is very frustrated with the lack of respect shown to police officers.

Two Police officers of North Carolina, went to a restaurant to order food for lunch.

They were not treated nicely. Instead, they were mocked and harassed by
the workers, according to Cleveland County Capt. Joel Shores, who said
that “he was angered, but not surprised by the incident.”

The wife of one of the officers took to Facebook, where she described
the unpleasant and disturbing incident that was perpetrated against her
husband.

The woman said that her husband and his partner went into Zaxby’s
restaurant in Shelby. They were both on duty and in their uniforms when
they were being ridiculed.

“They ignored the insults and continued ordering. Then, as they sat down
to eat their food, my husband realized that the workers had put the
hottest sauce possible on his chicken wings to the point that his food
wasn’t even fit to eat,” the wife wrote.

Shores said that as soon as his officer placed the food in his mouth, his lips began burning.

The company said that they will investigate the incident while the franchisee refused to comment on the incident.
