Police use their bananas to capture monkey named Mango running loose in the city

 

Police launched an investigation after a man illegally kept a monkey as a
pet before letting it run around in the streets, police in Canada said.

Ontario police said that officers had to use their bananas to capture the little monkey named Mango.

The incident unfolded around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday. Police got several
calls from concerned resident about the loose monkey running wild in the
streets.

Officers who responded to the scene, used bananas to lure the monkey to them before handing it over to animal control officers.

Police tracked down the owner of the monkey. It is illegal to keep a
monkey as a pet in Innisfil. Mango was handed over to the Elmvale Zoo.
