A woman and her children watched in horror as their loved one was shot dead in middle of the street.
Wayne Isaacs, 37, of New York, was off duty when he opened fire and shot the man during a road rage incident.
State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said that an investigation has been launched into the early Monday shooting.
37-year-old Delrawn Small of Queens, was driving in Brooklyn with his
girlfriend Zaquanna Albert, their 4-month-old son and her two daughters
when the fatal confrontation unfolded.
The officer allegedly told police that Small got out of his car at a
red-light, and confronted him in rage and punched him in the head
several times.
Small felt that he was put in danger when he was cut off by Isaacs shortly after the police officer’s midnight shift had ended.
However, witnesses told police that after the two cars nearly collided
with each other, Small confronted Isaacs, who pulled his gun and shot
Small.
