Police officer arrested after he tried to rip off girl’s underwear on street

 

A police officer was arrested on a charge of attempted indecent assault
after allegedly trying to rip of the clothes of a girl who was walking
home from school, according to police in Japan.

Kurume police said that they have arrested 25-year-old Jun Kitajima,
after being accused of trying to undress the 17-year-old girl as she was
walking on a street.

He was charged with one count of attempted indecent assault.

The officer was also suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.

According to the police investigation, on Monday around 9:30 p.m.,
Kitajima came up from behind the girl as she walked home from school.

He tried to pull down her pants and underwear. Luckily, the girl managed
to escape unharmed. The girl called the police and Kitajima was
arrested.

During questioning, Kitajima admitted to the allegations.

Kitajima is also being accused of using his cellphone to record up the
skirt of a woman in a parking lot. Kitajima shamelessly said that he had
done this sort of thing many times.

The chief of the Kurume police station apologized to the public for Kitajima’s action.
