A New York couple wanted to have a different and unique, yet cheap wedding.
The couple decided to exchange their wedding vows in front of their
family, friends and hundreds of random ferry riders who live or visit
the Big Apple.
Keith Haskel, 30, and Bethany Hall, 32, said “I do” aboard the Staten Island ferry in front of about 80 wedding guests.
A violinist accompanied them to create a festive atmosphere during the
25-minute journey from Manhattan to Staten Island, as the couple tied
the knot.
After the big kiss, the couple and their guests went out for drinks.
However, in order to get to the beer hall in Brooklyn, the bride, groom
and all the wedding guests traveled by subway.
The couple had their first dance on the subway platform and they continued dancing while riding to Brooklyn.
The couple was very happy with their big day and said that they had a great time.
