Photos: Dwyane Wade visits Shaolin Temple, attempts to learn some kung fu moves

On Tuesday, NBA superstar Dwyane Wade paid a visit to Henan’s famous Shaolin Temple, where he performed kung fu, prayed and promoted his brand.

Despite some light rain, the new Chicago Bull seemed to enjoy his
time at one of China’s most popular tourist spots. At one of the martial
arts shows, Wade was invited on stage to learn some kung fu moves
firsthand. A monk tried to teach Wade how to do the “Eagle Fist,” and it
seems like Dwyane should probably stick to basketball.

DWade brought along his wife, Gabrielle Union, to Shaolin. The two burned incense and prayed for world peace. After that, Wade got down to business.

Wade is currently on a promotional tour of China, heading through
Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang and Beijing. Back in 2012, the NBA
star shocked the world by famously leaving Jordan Brand to sign a deal
with Chinese footwear company Li-Ning.

Seems like the decision has worked out for Wade, he now has his own
sneaker and clothing line in China, under the label “Way of Wade,” and
even his own retail stores. Also, he gets a pretty serious police escort when walking around the malls.
