Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima and the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur
Buratai were part of the dignitaries at the Eid Fitr prayer which was
concluded peacefully and successfully at the Ramat Square, in Maiduguri
the state capital this morning. Unlike previous years, no bomb blast
incident has been recorded in any of the prayer grounds in the state.
The Eid prayer which was led by the Imam Idaini of Borno, Imam Asil
Alsunusiyyu, also had in attendance other top government and military
