Leicester City has signed Nigeria international Ahmed Musa from CSKA
Moscow on a four-year contract for a club-record fee of around £16m.
Musa is Leicester’s fourth signing of the summer after goalkeeper
Ron-Robert Zieler, defender Luis Hernandez and midfielder Nampalys
Mendy.
Musa, 23, joins the Premier League champions after helping CSKA win the
Russian title and is now expected to join his team-mates at the
pre-season training camp Austria next week.
In four-and-a-half years at CSKA Moscow, Musa scored 54 goals in 168
games. Last season was the best of his career in Europe, as he scored 18
goals in 44 appearances across all competitions.
He arrives at Leicester City with much-needed Champions League
experience to his name, having played 24 matches in the competition.
