A man was arrested after he was found with a young girl, who he is accused of sexually assaulting.
Prosecutors said that the married man of New Jersey, paid a woman in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to allow him to sexually assault two girls.
51-year-old Alfredo Rosales of Englewood, is accused raping the two girls over a period of six years.
He is accused of paying Esperanza Mani-Cortez, 44, for providing him the
girls for sex. Police did not release the relationship between the
woman and the girls.
They each face charges of aggravated sexual assault,
sexual assault, child endangerment, and aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Bergen County prosecutors said that police found Rosales with the 14-year-old victim who spent the weekend with him.
The 12-year-old victim was not present at the time.
Rosales, who is an auto technician, is believed to have been sexually assaulting the girls since they were 6 and 8 years old.
Police said that Mani-Cortez, who is unemployed, made the girls available in exchange for “financial compensation.”
Bail for Rosales was set at $500,000 and for Mani-Cortes at $300,000.
