Police are looking to arrest a man who posed as a police officer, after
patting down a woman on the street and stealing her valuables, according
to police in Florida.
Coral Gables police said that the incident unfolded around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The suspect approached the woman who was walking south on the 4000 block
of Aurora Street, and told her that he was a police officer.
He then patted her down and exposed his private parts. The suspect
threatened the woman by telling her that he had a gun, and stole her
valuables.
The thief then took off on a skateboard. The man was described as white
around 30 years old, about 5 feet and 10 inches and weighing around 185
pounds.
The suspect had shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a full beard.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt,
camouflage shorts and black sneakers.
He also carried a backpack.
