Man who died of hypothermia on tree stayed there for 8 months until someone noticed

 

A man who went for a walk with his son in a forest, noticed a dead man lying on a tree, according to police in Russia.

Tomsk police said that Pavel Petrov and his father called for help when
they noticed the body 50 feet up a tree in the forest located between
Mostovaya Street and Chekistsky Road.

According to the police investigation, the dead man, who was not
identified, was cold and he climbed onto the tree to warm up in the sun.

However, the sun did not warm him up and he died of hypothermia. The
dead man was dressed in a navy blue vest, shirt, pants and boots.

He died about eight months ago, according to the results of an autopsy.
At the time of his death, the man was sitting 50 feet above the ground
on a branch, hugging the tree with both hands.
