Man shoots at two teens playing Pokemon Go outside his home after mistaking them for intruders

Police launched an investigation after a man shot at two teenagers who
were playing Pokemon Go outside home, according to police in Florida.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said that luckily, the teens were
not injured, but their car suffered bullet holes and a flat tire.

The mother of one of the teens called police after she saw that her child’s car had numerous bullet holes.

The 37-year-old man who shot at the teens, told police that he was
sleeping in his home on Saturday around 1:30 a.m., when a loud noise
woke him up.

The man looked outside and saw a white car parked on the street outside his house. He grabbed his gun and went to investigate.

He approached the car and heard one teen ask another if he got
something. That is when the man stepped in front of the vehicle,
thinking that they had broken into his home.

He raised his gun and ordered them not to move. The vehicle sped toward
him and he moved out of the way. He then fired several rounds into the
car because he felt threatened.
