Now, 38-year-old Edgar Garcia of Stamford, Connecticut, has been sentenced to serve four months in prison after pleading guilty to attempted criminal sexual act.
In addition to prison, Garcia was also ordered to serve ten years probation.
According to the criminal complaint, the Garcia posted an advertisement on Craigslist, looking for teens for rough sex, rape play and gang bangs.
An NYPD vice detective operating in his undercover persona responded to Garcia’s ad, and clearly stated that he was a 14-year-old girl from Queens.
The “girl” and Garcia, exchanged emails and text messages for three weeks. Garcia outlined in graphic detail what he wanted to do with the teen.
He also sent a picture of his erect private parts to the girl.
