PETA is urging the public to come forward of information after a man
recorded a video of himself eating live mice and drinking beer.
Mimi Bekhechi, who is the director of the PETA Foundation, wants the man
of China, prosecuted on a charge of animal cruelty as nearly all the
countries in the world have a ban on eating live animals.
Lawmakers in China, recently banned eating live mice, but many people ignore it as eating rodents is seen as a delicacy.
The video that was uploaded on the Internet, shows the man, who was not
identified, drinking from a can of Budweiser before grabbing small
rodents with chopsticks.
He then dips the mice in a bowl of soy sauce before biting into one of the defenseless creatures.
The man, who was not impressed with the taste, added some spices to his
sauce before dipping the other half of the mouse into it.
