Man found dead during trip for twin brother’s bachelor party

A groom was left devastated after finding his twin brother dead while celebrating his bachelor party.

Gary Edwards, 28, of the United Kingdom, traveled to Poland, to celebrate the upcoming wedding of his twin brother Rob.

Gary, Rob, and 15 of their friends, spent the day playing football on
the beach in Sopot, before going for a meal and drinks at a bar.

The men went back to the rented apartment at around 11:00 p.m.

The next morning, when Gary did not get out of bed, they went to check
on him, and found him dead in bed. The men tried to revive him with
CPR, but it was too late.

Rob had the heartbreaking task of telling his parents about his twin
brother’s death. His family was waiting for an autopsy to learn the
cause of Gary’s sudden death.

However, they did not get the closure they were looking for, as the autopsy was inconclusive.

The autopsy revealed that Gary had been drinking a lot of alcohol as he had almost four times the legal limit.

However, Senior coroner Tony Williams said: “This is not a huge amount.
It’s certainly not enough to have caused toxicity or to be the cause of
his death.”

He also said that there were no traces of illegal drugs or prescription drugs in his system.
