Police launched an investigation after a husband died during an
altercation with his wife during which she squeezed his testicles for
five minutes, according to police in Vietnam.
Tien Giang police said that 53-year-old Le Kim Khai, died of suffocation while his wife squeezed his testicles.
So far, 55-year-old Phan Thi Kim Chuon was not charged after claiming that she assaulted her husband in self defense.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded in the woman’s home on Sunday around 10:00 p.m.
The husband and wife, who were estranged, did not getting along, and
Khai showed up at Chuon’s home, where she lives with their two
daughters.
Khai knocked on the door, but his wife and two daughters refused to let
him inside. Khai responded by using a handsaw to cut the lock open.
He got inside the home, and they began to fight.
The husband was the first to use his fists, and repeatedly beat his wife
despite desperate attempts by his daughters to stop him.
Chuong screamed for help and grabbed her husband’s testicles.
She then jumped on his abdomen while squeezing his testicles.
After squeezing his testicles for about five minutes, Chuong stopped the
attack. Police officers who arrived at the scene, found that Khai had
already lost consciousness.
He died on the way to a hospital. An autopsy revealed that he died of
suffocation as food got stuck in his windpipe during his wife’s attack
on testicles.
