A man was arrested on a charge of physical abuse after beating up his
wife for having sex with another man behind his back, according to
police in Zimbabwe.
Now, 46-year-old Richard Sithole of Bulawayo, has been ordered to pay a
fine of $100 or face six months in jail after pleading guilty to
physical abuse in connection with the beating of his wife, 38-year-old
Martha Mutandaguta.
According to the victim, she told her husband that she had no feelings
for him and wanted to find a boyfriend. When Sithole came home from work
on Tuesday, his wife was naked and on the phone.
She called the man on the line “sweetie.” When Mutandaguta saw her husband, she was surprised and threw her towel on the floor.
Sithole picked it up, and realized that it had sperm. Sithole flew into a
rage and beat her up. The woman sustained a swollen forehead and
bruises on her back.
