Bukola Saraki visits Nursing Village in Borno where women and children rescued from Sambisa are receiving treatment

Senate President, Bukola Saraki was in Borno state to condole
the people of the state over the death of Alh. Shettima Ali Monguno and
Alhaji Garba Abba Satomi. 
 
Saraki and his entourage were received at the Maiduguri
International Airport by Governor Kashim Shettima and their first point of
call was the Shehu of Borno’s palace (Alhaji Dr Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai
El-kanemi) where they condoled him over the death of Alh. Shettima Ali
Monguno and Alhaji
Garba Abba Satomi.
 
The Senate President
and his entourage were later at the Nurses village where they visited
the more than 500 aged sick, vulnerable women and malnourished children
rescued by the Nigerian Army from Sambisa are being kept for treatment
by the Borno state Government.
“We thank you for giving us this
opportunity to here, we are very happy to be here because to come here
and see the faces of these children at first sight we say we thank God.
It is your work and we say congratulations for doing a great work and
God will reward you abundantly” Saraki commend Shettima.
“But it
has also challenge us as a country because this responsibility is not
only of Borno state government and I assure you we will continue to
fight and that all of us who are part government must bring presence of
government here in Borno state and to carry this responsibilities on our
shoulder with you. I want assure you that we are not only to bring them
back to food nourishment but back to rehabilitation, back to education
and make them better. I commend you.”  Saraki added.
