Bank offers insurance to Pokemon Go players in case they get injured while playing the game

A bank announced that it will give free insurance to its customers who
play Pokemon Go, as the game can lead to physical or psychological
injuries.

People around the world are now more active as they are playing Pokemon Go.

However, being immersed in the game while outside sharing the road with vehicles, has led to some accidents.

Criminals have also taken advantage of the people who go after the
Pokemon Go characters. People have been robbed, shot and injured.

One teenager was killed and his cousin was injured after breaking into a home to catch a character while playing the game.

Now, Pokemon Go players in Russia, are being offered free insurance in the event of injury while using the popular game.

The country’s biggest bank, Sberbank, is giving its customers 50,000
rubles (about $800) worth of coverage in case of an injury related to
playing the virtual game.

“Given the fact that in some countries, there have been reports of
injuries of players who were catching Pokemon, we have developed a
special insurance that will be free for players,” said Maksim Chernin,
who is the CEO of Sberbank Life Insurance.
