2 dead, 20 injured in communal clash in Ondo

2 people were killed while more than 20 others were injured after a communal clash
broke out in Kogbona area in Ondo state. The clash started during a
carnival organised by some youths in the area. One of the dead persons
identified as Afusat Ayodeji, was the alleged leader of a cult group in
the town, while the identity of the other victim is unknown.

Confirming the incident, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for Enuowa
community in the state, Kunle Omisakin, said two persons have been
arrested in connection with the crisis.
