A teenage boy was arrested on a charge of supplying Class A drugs after
allegedly giving a younger boy ecstasy, causing him to collapse,
according to the police in the United Kingdom.
Manchester police said that officers were called around 4:30 p.m. on
Saturday, to the Timperley Metrolink station on reports of a 13-year-old
boy who collapsed.
The 13-year-old boy was taken to a hospital, where he remains in a
critical but stable condition. Police believe that the 13-year-old boy
consumed MDMA.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on charges of supplying Class A drugs and
perverting the course of justice. He remains in police custody.
“Sadly, this is another example of the consequences of taking drugs, and
I would urge anyone who is tempted to take drugs, to stop and think
about the implications,” a spokesperson for the Manchester police said.
