A man who was allowed to volunteer at a zoo despite his extremely
deformed face, was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after
allegedly pulling down the pants of a little boy and touching his
private parts, according to police in Florida.
Tampa police have arrested 21-year-old Cameron James Spurback, after
bang accused of sexually the 9-year-old boy at the Lowry Park Zoo.
Spurback was booked into the Orient Road Jail, and his bail was set at
$107,500. According to the police investigation, the boy went into the
bathroom around 2:30 p.m., and was approached by Spurback.
The zoo volunteer then pulled down the boy’s pants and touched the
child’s private parts. The zoo volunteer then pulled down his own pants
and fondled himself in the presence of the child.
The child fled the bathroom and told his parents about the attack. The
child’s parents alerted the zoo security guards, who then contacted
police.
Spurback was arrested as he left the bathroom. During questioning,
Spurback admitted to touching the boy. The child was not physically
injured.
Spurback suffers from a disease that causes his face to be deformed.
