Woman uses her high heel shoes to stab 21-year-old woman in the head during drunken fight at bar

Police are looking to arrest a woman on a charge of assault after
allegedly using her high heel shoes to stab a young woman in the head
during a drunken fight at a bar, police in the United Kingdom said.
Manchester police said that the incident unfolded about 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, at the Yates Wine Lodge on Portland Street.

A 21-year-old woman was with her friends at the bar when an altercation
broke out on the dance floor. During the assault, the victim was struck
on the head by the heel of a stiletto worn by the suspect.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for a head
injury, which has left her with a permanent scar to her forehead.

This suspect is described as white, in her mid-twenties about 5 feet and
2 inches tall, slightly chubby build with blonde shoulder-length hair.

Police have launched an investigation and have released an image of the suspect.

Detective Constable Tom Munnery said: “This was a vicious attack, and
there may have been a lot of people around the area at the time of the
assault. If you saw what happened, you may have information that could
help us track down the person that did this.

“We have released an image of the suspect in connection with this
attack, and if anyone recognizes her I would urge them to contact
police.”
