A woman was charged with assault after being accused of assaulting
paramedics who came to remove her from the middle of a road, according
to police in Australia.
Now, the 21-year-old woman of Darwin, who was not identified, has been
ordered to pay a fine of $472 after being accused of throwing pork chops
of two paramedics.
Superintendent Kylie Proctor said that motorist called to report that a woman was sitting in middle of the road.
Paramedics arrived with an ambulance to help the woman who was obstructing traffic on Daly Street about 4:40 a.m.
While they were trying to lift her up, the woman threw pork chops, which hit one paramedic in the face and another in the arm.
