A woman who was angry that her pizza had a lot less cheese than she
expected, called the police for help, according to police in Canada. Newfoundlander police said that instead of helping the woman, she received a warning about misusing the 911 telephone system.
Constable Geoff Higdon said that the bizarre call came in on Friday night.
The woman said that she had a problem with the store that she bought the
pizza from because the slices did not have enough cheese.
She approached the manager of the store, but she did not like what he
had to say about her problem. That is when she decided to call 911,
assuming that the police will be able to help her out.
Officers warned her not to call again and settle her dispute with the company as her case was not an emergency.
