Roommates fill up their kitchen with water and use it as swimming pool

Two roommates who wanted to enjoy swimming in a pool in the comfort of
their own home, filled up their kitchen with water, according to a video
that was uploaded to the Internet.
Vladimir Vechnyy of Tver, Russia, said that he and his friends came up
with the crazy idea to seal the kitchen of their ground floor apartment
and fill it up with water so they can swim in the comfort of their own
home.

Vechnyy covered his entire kitchen with heavy clear plastic to create a
watertight seal and protect his appliances. He then attached a foam tube
to the kitchen faucet, and waited for the room to fill up with water.

As soon as it was deep enough, Vechnyy and his friends were splashing in
his makeshift pool, diving into the water and playing with rubber
rings.

They enjoyed beer and cigarettes, which they balanced on floating
tables. They even used a plastic tray as a ship for their cat so it
could join the fun.

Vechnyy said that it took over four hours to prepare the pool, and another three hours to fill it with water.

When he and his friends were done with swimming, they simply lifted a
piece of their floor and stabbed the plastic with a knife to let out all
the water into the basement.

Video of the adventure was uploaded to YouTube, where it went viral.
