Police find bomb in backpack of man they stopped for wearing FCK CPS shirt

 

Several police officers in Germany, said that they knew something was
wrong when they spotted a young man walking with a shirt that had the
words “FCK CPS” on it.
Cologne police said that the 27-year-old man, who was not identified,
was walking with three friends on Thursday around 8:30 p.m.

Police officers approached the suspicious man who seemed nervous when he
saw the police car driving near him. While searching his backpack, they
found a plastic bag with an explosive device as well as a small amount
of synthetic drugs.

Police then decided to search the man’s apartment, and found evidence that he had been building a homemade bomb.

The bomb was found to be functional and an explosion could have caused substantial danger to people in the immediate vicinity.

The man was booked into jail, where he is being held pending a bail hearing.
