Photo: Blind woman gives birth to ten children and five of them are also blind

 

A woman who was born blind, did not allow her disability to stop her from living her life to the fullest.
Heather McIntyre, 41, of Sydney, Australia, was born with congenital cataracts, a condition which caused her to be blind.

She found the love of her life, and she is managing to raise a large
family with the help of two guide dogs and gadgets like a braille oven.

McIntyre, who is the proud mother of 10 children, said that she was 19
years old when she met her husband through her job as a telemarketer,
which is a “typical blind person job.”

Her husband now supports the family from his work as a personal trainer, McIntyre said.

McIntyre and her husband Garry, 56, got married after dating for six
months and they went on to have 10 children together, Kurt, 20,
Sebastian, 19, Jacqueline, 16, Kirima, 13, twins Lance and Quillan, 11,
Quintessa, 8, Jacinta, 5, Arnold, four, and
Myfawny, who is only 15 months old.

Five of the children, including the twin boys, the 5-year-old girl and
the baby were born with the same eye condition as their mother, and they
all being taught to be independent and self confident people.
