A man was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing his
elderly father with two chopsticks, accordingly police in Japan.
Osaka police said that they have arrested 51-year-old Michikazu Ikeuchi,
after being accused of using the chopsticks to stab his father,
81-year-old Takeo Ikeuchi.
He was charged with one count of murder. In court, Michikazu denied the charge, saying he did not indent to kill his father.
According to the police investigation, around 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a fight broke out between the father and son.
Michikazu grabbed two wooden chopsticks, measuring a foot long each, and
stabbed his father’s throat in the kitchen of their home.
The father was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
During questioning, the son told police that he stabbed his father
because he got annoyed by his speech.
