A man who was angry that he was evicted from a trailer park, took
revenge by dumping a bucket of feces into the public swimming pool,
according to police in Florida.
Pinellas County police said that they have arrested 54-year-old Thomas
Lee Mason, after being accused of intentionally contaminating the
community pool at the Embassy Mobile Home Park.
Mason was charged with one count of criminal mischief. He was booked
into the Pinellas County jail, and his bail was set at $150.
According to the police investigation, Mason broke into the Embassy
Mobile Home Park on Thursday night. Witnesses told police that they saw
Mason holding a bucket in his hand and dumping its contents in the pool.
Mason then left the area with the same bucket. The contents in the
bucket was feces. Mason was angry about his eviction from the trailer
park and is suspected of several criminal mischief events in the last
week.
The police estimated it would cost $300 in chemicals and cleaning products to disinfect the pool.
