The death toll in a suspected Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) attack at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport has risen to 43, Turkish Interior Minister Efkan Ala announced on June 30.
The minister said 19 of the victims were foreign nationals. Ala
also added that one of the suicide bombers had been identified, noting
that the evidence pointed at ISIL as the group responsible for the
attack.
