Buhari appoints Ibrahim Kpotum Idris as acting IGP

President Buhari has appointed Assistant Inspector-General of Police,
Ibrahim Kpotum Idris, as the Acting Inspector-General of Police.
Immediate past Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, retired from
office today after he reached the mandatory 60 years retirement age.
Arase and Idris are currently in a closed- door meeting with president
Buhari at Aso Rock, Abuja.
