Bomb threat forces EgyptAir flight to make emergency landing

An EgyptAir passenger plane on its way from Cairo to Beijing made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan today after receiving a anonymous call from someone alleging that a bomb was on board the aircraft. The Plane made a quick but safe landing and all 118 passengers, 17 crew members on flight MS955 were evacuated.

Security officers checked out the plane and found no explosives. it was revealed that it was a false bomb threat and the plane was allowed to resume its journey when fully cleared.
