The Economic and Financial crimes Commission, EFCC, have reportedly
secured a remand warrant to keep Femi Fani-Kayode, who was detained on
Monday, in custody.
According to Vanguard, the remand warrant was secured today and will
enable EFCC to keep the former minister/spokesman for the Goodluck
Jonathan Campaign Organisation, beyond the stipulated time allowed by
law. They say this is to enable their operatives to conduct proper
investigation into how he got the money, what it was used for and who
the beneficiaries were.
