Wife of Cameroon's Vice PM, others released by Boko Haram



“The 27 hostages kidnapped on May 16 2014 

at Waza and on July 27th at Kolofata were given this night to Cameroonian authorities. Ten Chinese, the wife of the Vice Prime Minister, Amadou Ali, the Lamido of Kolofata, and members of their families kidnapped with them are safe” the statement read in part

It didn’t state whether their release was made possible through negotiations or if it was a voluntary act by the sect members
