Police arrest woman for selling baby N30,000

The Lagos State Police command has arrested a middle-aged woman for allegedly selling a two-month-old baby for N30,000.
The suspect identified as Mrs Victor according to Police sources was arrested at her residence in Sabo Ilaje area of Lagos, following a tip off.
Police sources at the State Criminal Investigation Department where the suspect is currently being detained, told Crime Guard that there was a complaint that the suspect was engaged in child trafficking. When she was arrested, she confessed to have sold a two month-old baby for N30,000. She is yet to state the name of the buyer nor give us her contact. She still insists   she did not know the person.
