NFF hit Brazil with chartered flight Saturday

Officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will depart for Brazil with chartered flight on Saturday ahead of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup which kicks off June 12.

SportingLife understands that the delegation will take off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja for the seven-hour trip to Rio de Janeiro.

It was gathered from a source that the travelling agent,Wakanow.com is handling the trip for the federation.

 NFF secretary Musa Amadu is expected to travel to Brazil on Sunday for the FIFA congress and will return to the country on Thursday.

“The delegation will travel to Brazil on Saturday with a chartered flight. All the officials that will make the trip will be in Abuja by Friday to connect the flight to Rio de Janeiro,” a source told SportingLife.

Asked about the advanced party, he added: “I cannot confirm that now but all I know is that the NFF secretary will travel to Brazil on Sunday for the FIFA congress but he will return on Thursday.”
